ZUMBINI:: Music and Movement class

Zumbini is a 45-minute music and movement experience for 0-4-year-old’s plus caregiver. It includes a range of dancing, singing and playing instruments that will get you and your baby dancing, wiggling and giggling! It focuses on energy, fun and play to contribute towards the natural development of cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills plus giving the ultimate bonding experience between caregiver and child!

Fall session starts August 20th. Included in the registration is an awesome story/songbook, CD with all the songs, access to our Zumbini App plus character plush doll.

Yoga and Yarns for Preschoolers

Preschoolers ages 2 – 4 and their caregivers are invited monthly to join Youth Services Staff Ms. Anne and Ms. Kimberley as they lead this special 20-minute class incorporating yoga, stories, songs, and more for an interactive literacy session between caregiver and preschooler followed by a 20-minute “Stay & Play.” To participate, you must pre-register for this Class starting 2/1/18 – as space is limited – by calling the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library at 827-6950 or stopping by the Reference Desk. Each participant should bring a mat or towel and be ready to actively participate with your child, helping them develop a love of reading and exercise! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library

On Your Mark, Get Set…Storytime and Crafting

It’s time for Summer Reading and Mr. Andy and Mrs. Marcia want to read to you! Join us in the Caldecott room every Tuesday, June 7th-July 26th at 11am for some great family fun. We’ll sing songs, read stories and try out some cool crafting. The program is aimed at children ages 3-5, but all are welcome to join in the fun. Don’t forget to sign up for your Summer Reading Log! Track your reading progress and trade in your log for free books and prizes!

Toddler / Preschool Craft Time

Craft time is open to all children and focuses on teaching scissor, glue, and coloring skills.
Also check out our other Wednesday Storytimes: Baby & Toddler storytimes are for children up to 18 months of age. Preschool storytimes are open to any child who can sit for longer stories and participate in active songs, counting and colors in Spanish. Come for songs, stories, and fun. Family Storytime

Ms. Anne and Ms. Suzanne invite all children 16 months – 5 years and their families to Family Storytime and babies are welcome, too. Family Storytime begins promptly at 11:00 am and includes music, dancing, books, fingerplays, and more ending with a craft. If you are coming with a large group, please call the Library in advance at 827-6950.

Littles Playgroup

Storytimes are on a break, but you can still get together! Join our weekly playgroup for fun with parachutes, egg shakers, instruments, and more. A great time for kids and caretakers to socialize. Early literacy toys provided by the Friends of the Library.

Magical Melodies

Magical Melodies hosts Music Classes for young children, ages 8 months to 5 years old with a caregiver. Moms, Dads, Grandparents and Nannies are always welcome and encouraged to participate with their children, as you are your child’s best role model for trying new experiences. Additionally, participating in Music Class with a loved one builds connections as you all move through activities together as partners in singing and dancing.

Each class includes dancing, singing, playing age-appropriate instruments, as well as interacting with their classmates with scarves, ribbons, or parachutes.

Each class is $10 for the first child, and $5 for siblings.
