Anastasia Park-Fire Awareness Day

Join Anastasia State Park for Prescribed Fire Awareness Day on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. This fun family-friendly event will inform you and your family on the importance of prescribed fire for natural resource management, healthy ecosystems, and public safety. There will be hands-on activities, educational displays, experienced burners from various agencies and parks, as well as fire demonstrations (weather permitting). Program is free with regular park entry fees.

 Park entry is $8 per vehicle with 2-8 people per vehicle.

Don’s Friends Endless Summer Run

But, Don set a GREAT example for us all….to Help Others in Need. Don’s Foundation is dedicated to encouraging College Students to choose the Alternative Break,where Students choose to travel on their Vacations breaks and Help others less fortunate. We’re so proud of the Great Example that Don has set for young Students.

Endless Summer 10K Cross Country and 5K Beach Run/Walk. These 2 Great Runs are presented by Don’s Friends and benefit 2 Great Charities… Don’s FRIENDS and Friends of Anastasia. The Event is hosted by Anastasia State Park, which is a BEAUTIFUL Ocean Front State Park located in St. Augustine, Florida.

St. Augustine Mardi Gras 5k and Fun Run

Join us for the newest BEACH 5K in the country’s oldest city – the 2nd Annual YMCA Mardi Gras 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, February 19. The race will begin on St. Augustine Beach from the pier and head north toward Anastasia State Park on beautiful flat beach! There will be a live DJ from Beach 105.5 and a raffle at the end of the race for some great prizes. Dressing up is encouraged!

First Day Hike: Beach Clean Up

Our annual FIRST DAY HIKE is here! We like to start the New Year off right by cleaning up our beach. All volunteer participants will recieve free park entrance. We have over 4 miles of beach to get ready for 2017. Help us by getting out and getting involved! The more the merrier, all ages welcome, and as always our park and beach are accesible to all.
