Over the last few years, the rise in the popularity of running has led to the development of more local family races, designed to support local charities and community. We are lucky to have more and more races that make St. Augustine (and the surrounding areas) so great!

Whether you’re a new runner or a seasoned pro, these local races are a great way to get out on the course with family and friends. Runners and walkers (and run-walkers, too!) are always welcome to participate, and most events are stroller-friendly, too.

Ready for that start line? Check out these local races in the St. Augustine Moms Guide to Local Races In & Around St. Augustine!

The St. Augustine Moms Blog Ultimate Running Guide is brought to you by Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.

Most teams will meet two times a week for 75 – 90 minutes after school, with the exception of a handful of Saturday sites that meet once a week in the morning. The season will culminate in a 5k event on December 7th at UNF. This event will bring together family, friends and community members to celebrate the girls’ growth throughout the season.
