Kids of all ages can come into the Library for a trick and a treat! Walk down our spooky hallway, play a quick game for a trick and then we will give you a treat on your way out to continue your festivities on Halloween!
Boo! Prepare for Halloween with some spooky crafts! All supplies are provided by the Friends of the Library. Several prepared crafts will be available, but kids are also encouraged to use their imagination and make something unique with the provided materials! Open to kids of all ages.
There’s never a dull moment in the Hall of Terror, so enter only if you dare! Youths, ages 10+, will get the scare of their lives! Admission is free.
Glow in the Dark Yoga Fun for Kids 4-10. Saturday, October 28th 5-7pm. $25 includes 2 hours filled with yoga, movement, a healthy snack & mindful craft. Make sure to wear clothes that expose skin for us to paint with 100% non-toxic paint that will GLOW in our blacklights while we play. White & fluorescent colors are GREAT too!!
Come in costume to trunk or treat in a safe environment! We’ll also have crafts and activities in our large meeting room.

Stine and Marc Brown join forces again in a funny story featuring a fearless anti-heroine that will have kids and their parents cheering. Then, in Creepy Pair of Underwear!, Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown team up for a hilarious and creepy story of a brave rabbit and a very weird pair of underwear.
First Coast Opera presents Opera’s Most Haunting Melodies, a concert of ghostly experiences and haunting tunes, just in time for Halloween. The concert will take place at the Mark Lance National Guard Armory in St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017.

Doughnut Decorating – Who doesn’t love to put the icing on the doughnuts? Plus there will be a contest with trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

BYOP Carved Pumpkin Contest – You think you can make the cut? Bring your carved pumpkin with you to put on display. Everyone gets a vote and the pumpkin with the most votes at the end og the night gets a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place trophy!
All activities are free and the evnt is open to the public. This event is geared towards kids so, try not to be super scary.
