4th of July Fun In and Around St. Augustine

Happy Birthday, America! Spend July 3rd and 4th watching fireworks with the family around St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Palm Coast with our list of events. Many events include fun for the whole family with kid-friendly events, live music, and food.

July 3rd

Independence Day Savory Faire Food and Wine Tasting Tour:: {For Adults only} enjoy the oldest city and its local faire. During the three hour tour, enjoy local restaurants and unique dishes created especially for the tour. 

July 3rd Fireworks at World Golf Village:: World Golf Village will celebrate Independence Day with its annual community fireworks on Monday, July 3. General parking for fireworks is only $10. Check for more details at www.worldgolfimax.com. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.

Mama Blue at Jumbo Shrimp Baseball:: Mama Blue will sing our National Anthem to kick off a game between the Jumbo Shrimp and the Mobile BayBears, followed by a 4th of July fireworks extravaganza!

Fireworks in the Park:: Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Palm Coast’s fireworks celebration on Monday, July 3, at Central Park in Town Center! The “Fireworks in the Park” display will begin at 9 p.m. Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be family fun and games, music and a cookout with a variety of food vendors and food trucks. Pyramid Disc Jockeys will provide music, interactive games and dancing, and other event activities will include face painting, corn hole and a mini golf putting green. While food and drinks will be available for purchase, coolers and pop-up tents are also allowed. Families are encouraged to arrive early for a huge Palm Coast picnic! There is no charge for entry, parking or participation.

July 4th

Independence Day Savory Faire Food and Wine Tasting Tour:: {For Adults only} enjoy the oldest city and its local faire. During the three hour tour, enjoy local restaurants and unique dishes created especially for the tour. 

Fourth of July Fireworks in St. Augustine:: St. Augustine’s Fourth of July celebration at the Castillo de San Marcos includes a live music concert and a spectacular fireworks display over the historic bayfront. “Fireworks Over the Matanzas” is one of the biggest and best fireworks displays on the East Coast, featuring 5,000 individual shells exploding as high as 2,000 feet and as low as 100 feet. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.

Fireworks over the St. Johns River- This year, the City of Jacksonville’s free fireworks show will be launched at 9:45 pm from a barge on the St. Johns River between the Hyatt and Double Tree hotels and high above the St. Johns River from the Acosta Bridge. These locations are able to be viewed from both the North and South banks in Downtown Jacksonville in addition to viewing from Brooklyn and under the Fuller Warren Bridge where the Riverside Arts Market is held. Music will be synchronized to the show and can be heard at the Jacksonville Landing and under the Fuller Warren Bridge where the Riverside Arts Market is held.

Have young kids who don’t like the loud booms or hate being stuck in traffic? Catch the fireworks from the island, grab a chair and find a spot from Bridge of Lions to Blue Water Jewelers.
